Designed as a unique multifunctional commercial building, this project in Akola, Maharashtra, aspires to become an iconic landmark, redefining how business hubs integrate within the city.

Surrounded by diverse business establishments, this building occupies a narrow yet elongated plot with access along the North and East roads. Pedestrians from the vicinity are invited through breakout spaces that open onto a series of retail shops, defining an active and engaging urban edge.

The ground floor is marked by two distinct wings, offering layouts that cater to customer requirements and also boost footfall. In a context of opportunity and emerging business, the design evolves upwards, stacking activities ranging from retail, healthcare, hospitality and food courts across six floors. 

The next challenge lay in effectively designing the plumbing and utilities, without disrupting the diverse functionality on any floor. By carefully tucking the services into its peripheral sunken slabs, the structure achieves well-spaced and brightly lit interiors that feel open and uncluttered.

Extending beyond typical commercial developments, the Business Park integrates a diverse set of functions into a vertical network where business, entertainment and healthcare coexist within a singular architectural frame.
